LiveWire ONE
Charging
What are the charging options for the LiveWire ONE?

The LiveWire ONE can be charged at any compatible charging station, or with its onboard charger cable and a standard household outlet.

  • Level 1 (standard household outlet): 13 miles range per hour of charged
  • Level 2: the LiveWire ONE can be connected to a Level 2 charge unit but will be charged at the Level 1 rate
  • DC Fast Charge: the LiveWire ONE can be charged to 80% in only 40 minutes, and fully charged in one hour using DC fast charging stations found nationwide.
What kind of connector does the LiveWire ONE require to use DC Fast Charging?

The LiveWire ONE can be charged at any compatible CCS Combo 1 station, the ubiquitous DC Fast Charging standard across the US. Check out Google Maps to see how many compatible charging stations are nearby. The free LiveWire mobile app also allows you to search for CCS Combo 1 charging stations.

Is it safe to charge my LiveWire ONE daily?
Yes. The LiveWire ONE can be charged every day. Whether you are at home or on the road, you can start the day fully charged up. You can also charge multiple times per day to further extend your adventures.
How much range does LiveWire ONE have?

The LiveWire ONE has 146 miles of city range, 95 miles of combined city and highway range and 70 miles of highway range. We estimate our riding range per the Motorcycle Industry Council's recommendations and the SAE J2982 test procedure.

Is it safe to charge my LiveWire motorcycle in the rain?

Yes, it's OK to charge your bike in the rain - the vehicle inlet is weather resistant. If using the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE), ensure the outlet end is protected from the weather.

What Can I Do If DC Fast Charging Doesn't Start Successfully At A Charging Station?

Make sure you are initializing payment with the charging station before you connect the charging cable to your LiveWire ONE. Once payment has been completed, turn the motorcycle ignition switch to the ON position, then connect the EVSE cable. Once the connection is successful and the bike is actively charging, you can switch the ignition back to off.

If the station fails to initialize charging, disconnect the EVSE and restart the process up to two more times to try and establish a proper connection.

The LiveWire ONE motorcycle does require inspection or service of some mechanical and consumable items, such as (but not limited to) the drive belt tension, transmission fluid, brake fluid & brake pads, and tires, at recommended intervals and pre-ride. The maintenance schedule for your bike can be found in the Maintenance section of your owner's manual.

An authorized LiveWire location can provide service and warranty work for your motorcycle. Use our Locator to find a participating LiveWire location near you.

Does maintenance have to be performed by a LiveWire dealership?

No, maintenance can be performed by the shop of your choice or by yourself as long as everything is performed per LiveWire specifications and follows the maintenance schedule in the owner's manual. Keep in mind that LiveWire locations have specific training on these vehicles and have access to all the highest quality OEM parts. For that reason, we still recommend letting a LiveWire location perform your vehicle's maintenance.
