01 WHY EV?

Why EV for
Fleet Duty?

LiveWire ONE's clutch free operation means your riders no longer need to worry about managing the friction zone during prolonged maneuvering, resulting in less fatigue, enhanced focus, and less low speed drops. The smooth and consistent power delivery, now controlled only with the traditional right grip throttle and foot brake, allows operators to focus on the ambient sounds during their patrol thanks to the nearly silent operation.

02 OWNERSHIP COSTS

Fleet Ownership
Costs

Electric motorcycles are more cost effective for fleet duty than conventional internal combustion engine (ICE) motorcycles due to several factors including simplified powertrain complexity, reduced brake pad consumption, and the ability to recharge from multiple sources.

The numbers shown are estimates only. Actual average cost and savings per bike will vary based on environment conditions, geographic location, riding style, installed accessories, modifications, repairs and rider stature.

LiveWire electric motorcycles generate fewer maintenance costs over their lifetime. The electric powertrain offers simple and streamlined interactions for both operation and service. Since it is a single-speed there's no clutch or transmission to operate or repair. ICE consumable parts like oil/air/fuel filters, engine mechanicals, or clutches represent the majority of service costs for a traditional fleet. The elimination of these components on an electric motorcycle means increased uptime and lower cost of service.

Your fleet can also take advantage of the LiveWire ONE's onboard charger (compatible with Level 1 or level 2 chargers) to keep infrastructure investment to a minimum. If your location already has Level 3 DC-Fast charging infrastructure, then you'll be able to recharge LiveWire ONE in an hour or less depending on the state of charge.

Thanks to the advantages of EV technology, you can expect to see annual savings of more than $3,000 for the LiveWire ONE electric motorcycle when compared to a BMW R1250 RT Police model, or any equivalent internal combustion engine fleet motorcycle.
